{event} Overworlds & Underworlds, Cultural Olympiad // Leeds
A few images from the amazing Overworlds & Underworlds event in Leeds City Centre. The Brothers Quay, famous for their surreal films and stop frame animation, worked with some of Yorkshire’s finest composers, choreographers and artists, including Vincent Dance Theatre‘s Artistic Director Charlotte Vincent, to transform parts of the city into an amazing spectacle of site specific dance and installations for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

{events} Carmen Ghia and the Hot Rods // Wheel of Fortune
With Carmen Ghia & The Hotrods headlining the Wheel of Fortune rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza, I knew I would not be disappointed! The finger-popping rockabilly beat combo are guaranteed to get any crowd a-rockin’. The band showcased their latest album ‘ Flying Saucer Baby’, with Jack Rabbit Slim, The Slingshots, DJ’s Dan Sette & Ricky Bean and magician Ben-Z keeping the crowd wanting more! But the real stars of the evening were the fans, who pulled out all the stops to dress up in their finest and party like it was 1959!
